What experience do I have?Kaitlin Throgmorton, freelance writer and owner of this site.

Most of my work has been focused in writing and media. I’ve had titles such as “communications specialist” and “editor-in-chief.” The majority of my experience is with volunteer-driven organizations, but I’ve also worked with small businesses and corporations.

In addition to writing, I’ve also managed website builds, handled logistics for large events, and trained groups on marketing strategy. (View my resume.)

Bottom line: I bring years of writing and project management experience to your next venture, and I can craft your story into compelling content.

What’s it like to work with me?

I’m easy to work with, and my knack for organization keeps projects running smoothly. I’m always imagining the big picture, but my list obsession keeps me grounded in the details of getting the project done.

If you want a writer who’s also a practiced project manager, we’ll be a great fit.

What do I do when I’m not writing?

I like to joke to people that my cat's my boss. It's really not that far from the truth.
I like to joke to people that my cat’s my boss. Tahki sure knows how to run the place.

Originally from the southern U.S., I recently made a cross-country move from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Seattle, Washington, with my husband and our cat. Though it was a big change, I’m proud to now call the Pacific Northwest home.

When I’m not writing for clients, I’m often writing fiction or reading it. Aside all the writing, I love to explore. I run a travel blog, Booked & Ready, and I’m always on the hunt for the next adventure, whether it’s around the corner or on another continent.
